that bring joy to the personal environment. Dale opened The Second-Hand
Rose to share those gifts with others.
His designs have graced the most prestigious corporate and private events nationally
and in his hometown St. Louis. From a fabric swatch, a beloved object or a cherished
memory, Dale has fashioned entire worlds for weddings, galas and personal spaces.
Dale’s talent made him a regular on home and garden and flower show circuits.
He has appeared often on HGTV, Discovery and CNN, made appearances on NBC's Today
Show and
been interviewed by hundreds of programs across the U. S. and Canada.

Forget to Take Your Umbrella, is a touching children’s story that helps
kids recognize the many signs of love.
Since 1985, Dale has crisscrossed the country presenting workshops
to raise funds to fight ALS. His popularity with audiences has raised
more than $4 million to date.
Dale shares his energetic passion for life with three adult children,
seven grandchildren and his dog, Dolly.
